Our Vision
The Vintage Church local and global ministries provide a platform for people to go beyond the four walls of our church building to meet the needs of our neighbors and carry the gospel of Jesus to the ends of the earth. We accomplish this by serving, supporting, and caring for people in various states of need through strong partnerships with effective local and global organizations and robust in-house community initiatives. These ultimately facilitate opportunities for intentional personal relationships with people with whom we cross paths. It is also, in part, through these partnerships and initiatives that we aim to purposefully work toward an integrated community in which the church body reflects the community to which it ministers. The Serve the City Team facilitates local outreach ministry at Vintage Church. It is the responsibility of our entire church to reach our community and this team works to serve our church body to effectively & intentionally participate in each initiative.

Neighborhood Cafe
Join us as we serve food through Neighborhood Cafe! Our team partners with Archdale United Methodist Church to feed their neighbors who need a meal. We serve and share a meal with anyone who walks in the door. Vintage Church is committed to providing food and staff on the fourth Thursday night of each month. We need people who can be there early to help set up, people who enjoy having conversations with people who need love and kindness, and/or can help clean up at the end of the service. If you can do any or all of these things, sign up to get started!
Lydia’s Place Meals
We have a team of amazing people who are providing evening meals for the residents at Lydia's Place for one week every quarter. If you enjoy loving others through cooking, this is the place for you!

Thanksgiving Meal Delivery
We LOVE Thanksgiving at VC! As a cornerstone serving opportunity since 2008, we provide & deliver a full (un-cooked) thanksgiving meal for families to prepare at their own schedule. As of 2021, families in all Randolph County Schools and Uwharrie Charter Schools are served through this initiative of Vintage Church. In the past few years, other churches locally and nationally have adopted this model to serve thanksgiving meals to people in need in their communities. Our Vintage Church family donates the non-perishable food items and personally delivers meals to the doorsteps of families in need. We pray over each team who delivers and equip the teams to have spiritual conversations & prayer with the families. Our Thanksgiving Meal Deliveries happen on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Look for sign ups in November on the VC App!
