BEMA - Genesis Bible Study
Co-Ed. Monday Evenings. VC.
This class explores Genesis not as a modern Western textbook, but through the lens of its ancient Near Eastern and Hebraic context. Expect deep dives into cultural background, rabbinic insights, narrative structure, and how these early stories set the stage for the entire biblical storyline. Perfect for those seeking a fresh, thought-provoking perspective that bridges historical understanding with personal discipleship.

The class format includes listening to selected podcast episodes (or summaries), group discussion, reflective questions, and practical application. No prior experience needed—just an open heart and a willingness to trust the story.

Practicing the Way
Co-Ed. Monday Evenings. Asheboro.
Following Jesus is a spiritual journey. When Jesus invited his first disciples to 'follow' him on the 'way,' he was simultaneously saying that discipleship to him is a lifelong path.

The Practicing the Way Course is a tool to help you learn how to follow Jesus in the modern world. The course comprises eight sessions that include teaching, guided conversation, and spiritual exercises. It's designed to give us a road map for spiritual formation, help you get unstuck if you've stalled out, or just guide you into taking your next step. Ultimately, its goal is to train you to live as an apprentice of Jesus: to be with Jesus, become like him, and do as he did.

Whether you're new to the parables or eager to see them afresh, come with an open heart and experience how Jesus' stories still transform lives today!
