Psalm 23 is one of the most familiar passages in Scripture, but familiarity can sometimes keep us from discovering its depth. Over the course of eight weeks, this study will invite participants to slow down and walk through Psalm 23 verse by verse, uncovering the rich truths about who God is, who we are in Him, and how His presence equips us to stand against the schemes of the enemy.
Through biblical teaching, discussion, and practical application, we will explore the Shepherd who provides, leads, restores, protects, comforts, and prepares a table for His people—even in the presence of their enemies. Each week will connect the truths of Psalm 23 with the larger story of Scripture and help believers recognize the lies, fear, discouragement, temptation, and spiritual attacks of the enemy—and learn to fight them with the truth of God’s Word.
This eight-week journey will take a familiar Psalm and make it personal, powerful, and practical. Participants will be encouraged to move beyond simply knowing Psalm 23 by heart to living it out with confidence, trusting the Shepherd in every circumstance and standing firm when the enemy comes against them.
The goal is not simply to know Psalm 23—it is to know the Shepherd of Psalm 23 and learn how to stand in His truth.
